BIKE HELMETS:  Students riding bikes to school MUST wear a helmet.  It’s the law. All bikes must be locked in the designated bike areas.

EXITING SCHOOL:  Students proceeding to the front parking lot must do so from the crosswalk in front of the Administration building.

HOMEWORK CLUB:  Monday through Thursday 3:30–4:30pm in the school library.  Permission slips available in the front office.  Limited to 35 students.

JAMBA JUICE: Available every Thursday morning late start and Tuesday’s after school! A healthy alternative for your child. Quantities are limited and flavors will vary each week.  Proceeds benefit NHMS Boosters Club.  Cost $4.

LATE START THURSDAY:  Every Thursday school will begin at 9:45a.m.  Students are not allowed on campus until 9:20a.m.  Please report to the lunch area.  All other areas of campus are out of bounds.

NO SKATEBOARDS ALLOWED:  Razor type scooters, skateboards, skates are not allowed at school.  Don’t bring them.

STUDENTS LEAVING EARLY:  All students must be signed-out in the front office by a parent or guardian when leaving campus during school day.  Parents give their child a note to show the teachers indicating time and reason for release. Students then bring the note to the office to wait for sign out eliminating classroom disruption (especially during last period SSR /ESP time).

TARDIES:  If students are late they must have a parent sign them in at the attendance window.  If a parent does not walk you to the window the parent needs to call the attendance secretary Kathy Luzar.

WALKING HOME:  Please be “Good Neighbors” to our community and be respectful and responsible while walking to and from school.  Students caught using the slopes to enter or exit the campus will get consequences from the administration.  Thank you for being great students.
